God's solution to our sin

The Bible says that everyone is a sinner (Romans 3:23). God, ;;;;;;;;;; is Holy, Cannot be in the presence of sin;;;;;, therefore we are separated from God. The Bible also says that sin is punishable by death! If you don't deal with your sin, you will never be right with god and will forever be separated from Him. Before Jesus came to Earth, sin had to be dealt with all the time. According to the Bible, blood of animals was used as a sacrifice offering to God to pay for one's sins (Leviticus 17:11). Can you imagine living under that burden to take care of your sins just to be right with God?

The "Good News" is that there is a permanent, God------given solution to our sin problem, and that solution is Jesus Christ:;; "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). Wow! God freely gives us a gift to remedy our sin problem! The actual payment that God required from us was paid by Jesus' death on the cross. Jesus came to Earth to become the ultimate one-time sacrifice for all who will believe in Him. Why only Jesus and His death? Because Jesus was the only sinless person to ever live on Earth and that qualified Him to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:22).

Other religions may say that all roads lead to heaven or that you must follow certain traditions and rules to get to heaven, but the Bible says otherwise. Jesus said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6. Does that make Christianity seem exclusive? Not at all! On the contrary, God doesn't want anyone to perish. God is love (1 John 4:8), and because He loves the world, he wants all to be saved. "For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.

It sounds too good to be true, but it is true! God cannot lie and the Bible is His inspired Word. All you have to do is believe in what God says through the Bible. No matter what you have done in the past, present, or will do in the future, God, through Jesus Christ, will forgive you! That is a promise! So what will you do with this awesome gift?
